The University scored 91% on the overall satisfaction score, placing it firmly among the top 10 UK universities, excluding small specialist Higher Education institutions. According to Times Higher Education, Lancaster ranks third for student satisfaction among the universities listed in their world rankings.

In addition, in the breakdown of individual subjects, Finance and Accounting scored 96% for student satisfaction, while Economics scored 92% and Business scored 90%.

The National Student Survey is published every year and measures the satisfaction of students at Higher Education institutions across the UK. Final year students are asked about teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources, personal development and overall satisfaction.

Lancaster is ranked overall amongst the top 10 universities overall in the UK, coming 9th in the Complete University Guide and 10th in the Guardian. The University also ranks amongst the UK top 5 for employment, according to the Daily Telegraph, with 97% of graduates employed or in further study within six months of graduation.
